Our History
Travis VanHoozer established Source Energy Solutions in the summer of 2014 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Flow back and well testing was the initial services being provided until venturing out into rentals and water transfer services. It was a new company with one account that just couldn’t take off.
By 2015, a capital group took an interest and bought into the company. Source Energy Solutions took off after that by adding more fleet, and assets and branched out into West Texas. Within a month, Source went from having 6 employees to 38. Eventually, the Oklahoma branch was closed to focus solely on the Permian Basin and Delaware. Source then ventured into SWD construction and production facilities.
In the fall of 2021, Travis successfully bought back 100% of the company from the capital group. His main focus is to keep the company family-owned and see every employee as a team member, not just a number.
Source Energy has maintained an average of over 30 employees for seven of the last eight years, with operational yards in Pecos, Texas, and Midland, Texas.
Source Energy focuses on water transfer services, linear division projects, small construction, and oilfield services, ensuring a robust presence in the industry.
